Mobile Soccer Club Mission Statement

 
Mobile Soccer Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and enhance the sport of soccer throughout the City of Mobile; Mobile County, Alabama and along the Northern Gulf Coast. We encourage our youth to develop an understanding of self discipline, leadership, teamwork, responsibility and respect for others through the sport of soccer. We work to instill a sense of individual and team pride, along with a belief that one’s individual ability and effort can make a difference both on and off the soccer field. We work to challenge and support each player on the field and in life. We promote and encourage high standards of sportsmanship and fair play.

 
Through our dedicated staff and numerous volunteers we strive to develop players at all levels of play – Recreational, Competitive Travel Teams and Premiere Travel Teams. We work to help our players improve technically, tactically, physically and mentally. We further work to instill confidence and initiative in order to provide the best environment to allow our players to achieve their personal goals in relation to the sport of soccer and to allow each player and each team to reach the highest level possible.

 
We are committed to developing coaches to the highest level through a quality instructional program and coaching education. In doing so, we hope to promote the appreciation for and long-term participation in the word’s most popular sport. We work to provide a superior training environment that fosters critical thinking and problem solving skills for use in match play and in life. We strive to provide an equal opportunity for every young person.

 
We continually advocate for more and better fields for practice and play. We look to aggressively expand soccer opportunities to areas that are traditionally underserved.

 
We will work to educate the general public about the sport of soccer and how the sport of soccer can enhance the quality of life in a community.
