2008 Annual NALC Food Drive

Saturday, May 10th is the Annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive, the largest one day food drive in the country.
 
We are hoping you will be able to support your local Food Bank and volunteer at least two hours on Saturday, May 10th. We will need volunteers from 2:00 PM. until 7:00 PM. Our busiest time is expected to be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. You will be unloading bags of food from trucks and sorting the food.

 
You can call the Bay Area Food Bank at 251-653-1617, fax us at 251-653-4208 or email us at jbrewer@bayareafoodbank.org if you can volunteer that day. We want you to check with us ahead of time so we can be sure the full day is covered. We need you all to come, just not all at the same time!

 
Volunteers should come to the Theodore warehouse of Bay Area Food Bank – 5248 Mobile South Street, Theodore AL. A map is on our web site www.bayareafoodbank.org.

 
We will have great food and refreshments, and a Bay Area Food Bank T-shirt for those who work at least two hours.

 
Please come and join the food bank staff and other volunteers! You will work side by side with some of the best people in the Mobile area and have a great time!

 
REMEMBER TO WEAR SHOES THAT PROTECT YOUR FEET.

 
Tennis shoes are fine but no sandals please.
