Colin Martin was born in Carlisle, England.
He played soccer at Nelson Thomlinson Secondary School and Liverpool John Moores University where he graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree for Sports Coaching Science.
Colin played club soccer at Carlisle City Club.
He coached the Liverpool JMU Women's 1st and 2nd Teams from 1995-1998 and has coached in other venues for the past 12 years.
Colin has received the English Futbol Academy FA Team Leaders Award and holds a FA Team Coaching Certificate and an Adult Teaching Certificate for Higher Learning.
