Kent Baxley

Kent has coached for many years in various venues in Mobile, Alabama including the Mobile Soccer Club. He has coached the Mobile Soccer Club 96 Boys Blue Team and other teams within the Club at various times. He has also served as a Coach for Murphy High School in their soccer program.
His youth teams won 14 league championships and several Metro Mobile Championships. Kent served an assistant coach on other soccer teams that won Championships as well. In addition, he has coached several champions and finalists in basketball and he has coached volleyball in a local volleyball league. He has formed teams to participate in other events such as the Alabama Sports Festival as well in order to provide some local players a greater challenge.
Kent is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law. While at the University of Alabama he coordinated all of the intramural sports programs for the Baptist Student Union and was instrumental in starting the Unviersity of Alabama Men's Club Volleyball team.
Kent holds a USSF “E” Coaching License.
