Cheyl Moore is a 1992 Fairhope High School graduate, where she was an all-county soccer player.

 

She attended the University of Mobile on a soccer scholarship and was selected to the All-South conference team. She also served as team captain at Mobile her senior year. Cheyl earned a Double Major: a Bachelor of Science in HPER (Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance) and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from University of Mobile in 1997. She also has completed her Masters in Education in 2001.

 

Cheyl has been a Physical Education teacher in Baldwin County for the last 10 years. She taught at Elberta Middle School from 1998 – 2007. She was responsible for the first ever soccer program at her school. Her team went from winning one game their first season to being back to back County Champions. Cheyl was also honored to be named “Coach of the Year” numerous times and is proud to see some of her former players starting as freshman in high school, as well as knowing that some who are playing collegiately.

 

She is currently teaching physical education at Elsanor Elementary (Pre-K-6th grade) and is the current Bayside Academy Junior Varsity girls coach.

 

Cheyl coached the Blast U15 Girls in 2002.

 

Cheyl holds a USSF “E” License.
