John O’Brien graduated from Oak Ridge (TN) High School in 1991. He played soccer at Berea College from 1991 to 1993.
John officiated Soccer from 1993 to 2003. He attained the level of National Candidate Referee and was the youngest National Candidate referee in the country in 1998.
He has coached at Davidson High School from 2004-2007.
He graduated the University of South Alabama with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and he is currently employed as a mechanical engineer at Austal Shipyard.
John holds an Advanced Regional Diploma from the NSCAA and a USSF "E" License.
